Schedules can be used with features such as Auto Attendant and Conditional Call Forwarding.


Use the following steps to manage schedules in BirchConnect.

Under Managed Services, click Voice Features:

Under Number Settings/Individual Settings, click Time Schedules or Holiday Schedules


  • Time Schedules are defined with blocks of time and can be used with features such as Auto Attendant and Conditional Call Forwarding. Company Time Schedules can be used by any Birch Connect user in the enterprise while Individual Time Schedules are only available for the Birch Connect user that created them.
  • Holiday Schedules are defined with dates when your office will be closed and can be used with features such as Auto Attendant and Conditional Call Forwarding. Company Holiday Schedules can be used by any Birch Connect user in the enterprise while Individual Holiday Schedules are only available for the Birch Connect user that created them.


New Time Schedule


Use the following steps to create a new Time Schedule.

Select a telephone number and click Create New Schedule:

Type a Schedule Name:

Click Add Time Blocks:

Checkmark the days of the week and set a Start Time and End Time for the schedule to be in place. Click Submit.

Notes:
  • The Start Time and End Time reflect the time your schedule is in effect.
  • Multiple time blocks can be set.
  • Time blocks are specific to each 24-hour day. In an instance, a schedule needs to be in place from 5:00 p.m. on Monday until 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday, create a time block from 5:00 p.m. until 11:59 p.m. on Monday and an additional time black from 12:00 a.m. on Tuesday until 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday.

After all of the time blocks are added, click Save Changes.



New Holiday Schedule


Use the following steps to create a new Holiday Schedule.

Select a telephone number and click Create Holiday Schedule:

Type a Schedule Name:

Select the date(s) for the schedule to be in place:

By clicking on the scheduled dates, you can modify the schedule or delete the time block:

After the Holiday Schedule is complete, click Save Changes.


Modify a Schedule


Use the following steps to make changes or delete a schedule.

Select the schedule to modify:

Click a time block to edit.

You can make changes to the time block and click submit. You can also delete the individual time block by clicking delete:

To delete an entire schedule, click Delete Schedule (below Schedule Name):
